Actress Lee Si-young successfully completed the 4,000m above sea level Mardi Himal trek in the Himalayas with her 6-year-old son.
On the 8th, Lee Si-young revealed the process of trekking in the Mardi Himal in the Nepal Himalayas with her 6-year-old son on her SNS. She explained the process, saying, “We couldn‘t get there at the sunrise we had planned,” and “We got ready from 3 in the morning and tried to get there quickly by helping the Sherpa uncle and myself get up on time, but we were so slow that we couldn’t see the sunrise on time.”
She continued, “Still, we arrived at the Mardi Himal viewpoint at 4,000m above sea level without anyone getting left behind. The weather was not good throughout the trek, and I was worried because it rained and snowed at the end, but on the last day, like a gift, we were greeted by weather that was like a blessing with an open view in all directions to Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South Peak.”
Lee Si-young added, “I was so grateful and happy for every moment I spent in the Himalayas with Jung Yoon. Thank you to everyone who was with us.”
Lee Si-young also shared a video of herself having a snowball fight with her son, saying, “A snowball fight in the Himalayas… The last part of the video is of Jung Yoon and the descent from Mardi Himal. Just look at the color of the sky. Jung Yoon-i asked several times, ”Why is the sky so blue? Is the sky originally this blue?“ The photos and videos you uploaded from the Himalayas weren‘t color corrected at all... They’re so beautiful. I think I‘m going to miss them already.”
Meanwhile, Lee Si-young successfully climbed Mt. Halla carrying her son on her back in January of last year.
