Model Kim Tae-yi (real name Kim In-sik), who appeared in the TVING original entertainment show ‘Transfer Love 2’, was investigated by the police on charges of drunk driving.
According to her agency, Esteem Entertainment, on the 11th, Kim Tae-yi caused a drunk driving accident last September.
At around 5 am on September 15th, Kim Tae-yi caused an accident injuring a pedestrian while driving after drinking in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Kim Tae-yi admitted to drunk driving during police questioning after the accident. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station handed Kim Tae-yi over to the prosecution on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) on the 7th of last month.
Esteem Entertainment stated, “I deeply reflect on and apologize for causing a drunk driving accident,” and explained, “While I was parked in my car to hire a designated driver, I had no choice but to move my car due to the parking lot manager’s repeated requests to do so, and in the process, I had a collision with a pedestrian. I personally appeared in the police investigation regarding the incident at the time and testified to the truth about the situation at the time.”
Kim Tae-yi debuted as an actress in 2016, but after working as a cafe barista, she first gained public attention when she appeared in ‘Transfer Love 2’. Since then, she has signed an exclusive contract with her current agency and is currently working as a model and influencer.
