Singer Tony An talked about a dizzying experience he had while drinking and taking drugs together.

He said, “I thought I had to shoulder everything and overcome it on my own. Because of that, I became distant from the people around me. Even when I met my close friends, they saw me as someone who was going strong. I gradually isolated myself and became isolated,” he recalled after becoming the CEO.

He confessed, “At some point, I started getting headaches. It was so painful that I took eight headache pills a day. But the headaches didn‘t go away. Someone told me that it didn’t seem like a regular headache and that I should go see a psychiatrist. After getting examined, I was diagnosed with eight different symptoms. I was prescribed a lot of medication for depression, bipolar disorder, and social phobia.”

He continued, “After taking the medicine, the headache went away, but I became lethargic.” “I didn‘t want to do anything. Money was annoying, eating was annoying, and life was annoying. When I lay on the sofa and spend time blankly, I don’t have good thoughts. ‘What is the meaning of life?’ As it got deeper, I went out to the veranda every day and looked down and imagined a lot.”

He also mentioned a dizzying experience from taking tranquilizers and alcohol together, saying, “That day too, after taking the medicine and alcohol together, I opened my eyes, and my pillow and blanket felt damp. The bed was soaked with blood.” He added, “Then I looked in the mirror and there was no hair. I was cutting my hair with scissors and accidentally cut my ear and it bled.”

Tony Ahn revealed the reason for his participation in the broadcast interview, saying that he overcame such mental difficulties with the power of faith.
