Actress Kim Tae-hee‘s recent status has been revealed.

Kim Tae-hee attended the Laity Sunday sermon held at the Myeongdong Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Seoul on the 10th. Kim Tae-hee, a devout Catholic, is baptized with the name ‘Bertha’. On this day, Kim Tae-hee wore a mass veil and went up to the lectern herself to tell her story to the young people who participated in the sermon.

First, she said, “I think there are many who wonder why I am standing here,” and added, “Today (the 10th) is Sunday, so I spent the whole day sweating with the kids at home and came just in time for the 7 o’clock mass. I am so grateful and happy to be able to spend this precious time with you.”

Kim Tae-hee continued, “It felt unfamiliar and worrisome to be standing here. But I came to accept it naturally, as if it were something I had to do. I was very lucky to be popular and loved by people, and now I have two daughters who are more precious to me than anyone else in the world, and I think I have created the harmonious family that I have always dreamed of.”

Kim Tae-hee said, “However, every moment of the past 40 years has been “It’s never been all happy, worry-free, and good times,” she said. “I’ve had countless worries, conflicts, and hardships in life, just like you all, and I’ve lived my lives going from very small and trivial conflicts with people around me to major incidents that I absolutely had to resolve. There are days when everything seems meaningless and I feel helpless. I think the one who gave me the most strength during those times was God,” she confessed her faith.

Lastly, Kim Tae-hee added, “I want to live without any restrictions, without being upside down or down.” It was reported that Kim Tae-hee, her husband, singer Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), and their two daughters also attended the mass that day.
