Actress Go Hyun-jung did not attend the production conference for her comeback drama due to deteriorating health.

Go Hyun-jung was scheduled to begin promoting the drama starting with the drama production conference to be held at The Saint in Guro-gu, Seoul at 2 PM on the 16th. However, two hours before the event, she suffered a setback when she went to the emergency room due to a “sudden deterioration in her health.”

The production team stated on that day, “This was an inevitable decision following the medical team’s opinion that absolute rest and recovery were necessary this morning.”

NSIENM, her agency, also stated, “Go Hyun-jung has been in poor health and has collapsed several times on set,” and explained, “She has been holding on with mental strength until recently, but today she went to the emergency room. The medical team diagnosed that she “will not be able to continue her schedule,” so she hastily decided to withdraw.”

Go Hyun-jung will transform into a star producer through the new Genie TV drama ‘Namib’, which will be aired for the first time on the 23rd.

‘Namib’ depicts the star creation project of star producer Kang Soo-hyun, who was fired from her company, and long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo, who was released from the company.

Go Hyun-jung plays the role of Kang Soo-hyun, who raises idols with her own philosophy and intuition.
