Actress Kim Tae-ri will promote the charm of hanbok to the world through the Times Square billboard in New York City on Christmas Eve. On the 18th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft & Design Foundation announced that they will air Kim Tae-ri‘s hanbok pictorial video produced through the ‘Hanbok Promotion Project’ on the billboard in Times Square in New York City on the 24th (local time). The project involved four domestic hanbok brands selected through a public contest, designing hanbok that combines traditional style with a modern sensibility. This hanbok pictorial will also be aired on the large billboards at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History in Paris, France and Jongno-gu, Seoul.
