Actress Park Han-byul has signed an exclusive contract with Chan Entertainment.
Chan Entertainment stated on the 19th, “Actress Park Han-byul has clearly and distinctly shown her own color through various works. We are happy about our future journey together, and we will not spare our full support so that she can focus on various activities as an actress based on deep trust.”
Park Han-byul made a name for herself in the 2003 film ‘Whispering Corridors 3: Fox Stairs’ and showed off her infinite charm in various works such as the dramas ‘Love in Sadness’, ‘Vogue Mom’, ‘Entourage’, ‘I Have a Lover’, ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’, as well as the films ‘Bunshinsaba 2’, ‘Two Moons’, ‘My Black Minidress’. In addition, she is active as a multi-entertainer in advertisements, pictorials, and YouTube.
Park Han-byeol said, “I will work hard to show you a better image and acting. I will always be an actress Park Han-byeol who can live up to the expectations and support of my fans. I would appreciate it if you could watch over my future activities and cheer me on.”
Park Han-byeol married former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In-seok in 2017 and they have two sons.
CEO Yoo In-seok was brought to trial on charges of embezzling company money and arranging prostitution while working as a business partner with Seungri, formerly of group Big Bang. In December 2020, she was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison, suspended for 3 years, and in December 2021, she was sentenced to 6 months in prison, suspended for 2 years, on charges of mobilizing organized crime members to threaten an opponent in order to take revenge on Seungri.
After the controversy surrounding her husband, Park Han-byul stopped her entertainment activities and settled in Jeju Island, where she ran a cafe. In April, she announced her return by signing an exclusive contract with Rise Entertainment, but announced the termination of her contract after 6 months.
In the meantime, she garnered attention by making a gesture indicating that she was monitoring her husband on her YouTube channel, saying, “I‘m doing this (monitoring).”
Park Han-byeol’s new nest, Chan Entertainment, is a professional management company that houses actors Jung Wook, Bae Seul-gi, Lee Yoon-hyung, Song Hyun-chan, Kim Tae-poong, Cha Se-yeon, and Kim Min-joo.
