Four days before his discharge from the military, the Military Manpower Administration has begun an investigation into the allegations of poor social service performance by Song Mino of the group Winner, and the police have also begun an internal investigation. On the 19th, Mapo Police Station in Seoul received a petition from the National Petition requesting ‘Investigate Song Mino‘s allegations of habitual falsification of attendance records’ and began a pre-indictment investigation (internal investigation). Earlier, on the 17th, a media outlet raised allegations about Song Mino’s attendance while he was serving as an alternative service member at a public convenience facility in Mapo, Seoul. The outlet pointed out Song Mino‘s frequent use of sick leave and annual leave as evidence of the allegations of poor service performance, to which Song Mino’s side refuted, saying, “It is an extension of the treatment he was receiving before serving, and all other vacation days were used according to regulations.”
