Actress Shin Min-a continues to warm people‘s hearts with her continuous sharing activities.
Shin Min-a, who has been practicing sharing by consistently donating to those in need for 15 years since 2009, once again delivered her warm heart at the end of last year by donating 300 million won to organizations to which she makes annual donations, such as the Hallym Burn Foundation and Seoul Asan Medical Center.
Shin Min-a has quietly supported people in difficult circumstances, from children to the elderly, in the hopes that they can dream of a healthy future in a healthy environment. Meanwhile, Shin Min-a, who has been paying more attention to those who are relatively unreachable and has continued to think about ways to help them, has been actively supporting burn patients since 2015 for the past 10 years after hearing their stories about them who cannot even think about surgery or receive proper treatment due to low social interest and enormous medical expenses.
In the case of burn patients, not only do they need multiple surgeries over several years, but it also takes a long time for their skin tissue to recover, so even one-time help is very significant and appreciated, but continuous interest and help are desperately needed. Accordingly, Shin Min-a has donated a total of 1 billion won, 100 million won per year, to the ‘Hanlim Burn Foundation’ to help 201 burn patients so far, and 18 children and women burn patients in 2024 alone receive treatment and surgery.
In addition, Shin Min-a has supported projects to support teachers at study rooms for underprivileged children, support heating costs for the elderly living alone, and support projects for North Korean defector women and children. She has also been at the forefront of sharing in overseas support projects, extending a helping hand without fail when social disasters such as COVID-19 damage, wildfires, and flood damage occur.
In addition, Shin Min-a, who won the ‘Good People Artist Award’ at the ‘14th Beautiful Artist Award’ held last year, said, “I will donate the precious prize money I received today to those in need of a helping hand in difficult circumstances” and she is a student at her alma mater, Dongguk University’s Department of Theater and Film. He also asked her to use the prize money for the students.
Shin Min-a‘s warm good deeds, which she has been practicing for over 15 years rather than just once, are a role model for many. Shin Min-a is constantly thinking of ways to return the love she has received from the public, and is always trying to help out in various parts of society with sincerity, spreading a helping hand. Shin Min-a is considered one of the entertainment industry’s representative ‘good deed angels’, and is spreading a good influence in many places.
