Influencer and visual director Lee Hee-chul, who appeared on the KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘Men Who Do Housework Season 2’, passed away suddenly. He was 40 years old.
According to the broadcasting industry and the bereaved family on the 8th, Lee Hee-chul passed away the previous day from a myocardial infarction. The funeral has been prepared in room 7 of the Soonchunhyang Seoul Hospital funeral hall. The funeral will be held at 5 am on the 10th, and the burial site will be Suwon Yeon Crematorium.
The news of his death was made known to the world the day before when Lee Hee-chul‘s close colleague and broadcaster Pungja posted the news on his personal SNS. Pungja wrote on SNS, “My beloved Seoul Salon Lee Hee-chul oppa became a star in the sky today”. “Please pray that he can go to a good place.”
Lee Hee-chul, who started out as a photographer, has shown his multi-talented side by working as the visual director of the girl group Klassie. In 2023, he appeared as a regular on ‘Season 2 of Men Who Do Housework’ and received love from viewers by revealing his lively daily life. After that, he opened a YouTube channel called ‘Lee Hee-chul’s V-log’ and communicated closely with viewers.
His colleagues in the entertainment industry were also shocked by the sudden sad news. Actors Yoo Ha-na, Kim Kwon, and Lim Hyun-soo left comments on his SNS expressing their condolences, saying, “I love you”.
