Actress Bae Seul-ki and YouTuber Sim Ri-seop are taking legal action after receiving death threats.

Bae Seul-ki‘s agency Chan Entertainment announced on the 9th, “We have decided to take strong legal action in response to the recent death threats made against actress Bae Seul-ki and her husband, feeling deeply saddened.”

They continued, “The expressions that have been spread through community bulletin boards are so horrific that it is difficult for the family to currently lead a normal life.”

They continued, “We will work with investigative authorities to track down those who wrote and commented malicious posts and distribute them, and we will hold them strongly legally accountable in accordance with the zero-tolerance principle.” They took a hardline stance, saying, “Although methods such as deleting URLs and canceling membership in order to avoid leaving evidence are spreading, we are collecting all of the posts that have been written and continuously requesting cooperation from the relevant sites.”

Bae Seul-ki and Shim Ri-seop got married in November 2020 and have one son.
