Immersive experience zone ‘Squid Game: The Experience’, lands in Seoul after US and Australia

The ‘Squid Game’ themed experience zone, ‘Squid Game: The Experience’, which has been a hot topic in countries around the world including New York, Madrid, and Australia, is finally landing in Seoul. On February 28th, ‘Squid Game: The Experience’, where you can experience various ‘Squid Game’ games firsthand and the thrill of what‘s on the screen, will open in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

‘Squid Game: The Experience’ is an immersive space where you can experience the thrill and fun of ‘Squid Game’, the most popular Netflix show in history, offline. It is a new type of cultural space where you can enjoy various games as well as food, photo zones, and goods all in one place. Starting with New York in October 2024, ‘Squid Game: The Experience’, which will be presented in major cities around the world including Madrid and Sydney in December, has received favorable reviews as a space where you can enjoy ‘Squid Game’ content in greater depth and a fresh place where you can experience the diverse aspects of K-culture. In particular, ‘Squid Game: The Experience’, which opened in New York in October of last year, has been sold out for eight consecutive weeks.

‘Squid Game: The Experience’, which has finally come to Seoul with the release of Season 2, will begin operations in Seongsu-dong, the center of cultural and lifestyle trends, from February 28. Participants will go through the initial process of registering as players by scanning their faces, and then enter the dormitory where they listen to a game briefing, allowing them to feel as if they have been immersed in the ‘Squid Game’ content. After this, they will enjoy a total of six games including ‘Marble Throwing’, ‘Treasure Hunt’, ‘The Rose of Sharon Has Blossomed’, and ‘Tug of War’ for about 90 minutes, and one final winner will be selected.

In addition, participants can enjoy special fun only available at the space, such as the photo zone where they can take a certified shot in a special frame with various food and drinks, and ‘Younghee’s Playground’ where they can find ‘Squid Game’ goods, before and after the games.

‘Squid Game: The Experience’ is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM every Monday to Thursday, and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays. Tickets are 55,000 won per person when purchased on-site, and a 10% discount is offered when purchased online. ​In particular, if you purchase tickets by the 17th through the online ticket purchase link that opens from 8 am on January 13th, you can apply for the early bird benefit and purchase them at a 30% discount of 38,500 won.
