Voice actor Lee Jae-myung, who voiced the landlord Mr. Go Gil-dong in the animation ‘Dooly the Little Dinosaur’, has passed away. Aged 78.
Junior voice actor Jeong Seong-hun announced the passing of the deceased on the 15th through his personal SNS, writing, “I pray for the repose of the soul of senior Lee Jae-myung.”
Born in 1946, the deceased began his career as a stage actor and joined the KBS voice actor troupe in 1971 as the 13th class.
The deceased‘s representative works include the role of Piglet in ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and the role of Frieza in SBS’s ‘Dragon Ball Z’.
He also participated in animations such as ‘Fly Superboard’, ‘Super Granjo’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Silver ’, ’Alice in Wonderland’, ‘The Jungle Book’. He also dubbed foreign films such as ‘Good Will Hunting’‘Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark’‘Drunken Fist’.
After retiring from active duty in 2005 after dubbing ‘Jurassic Park 3’, he devoted himself to the welfare of popular culture and arts figures and to nurturing future generations.
