Singer Kim Da-hyun is reinterpreting ‘Apartment’ in her own style and releasing it.

The popular song that spans generations, ‘Apartment’, was released by Yoon Soo-il in 1983 and became a huge hit. Kim Da-hyun will approach it in a new style beyond the original song and release a new song on December 18.

It will be released in Korean and English versions, and Kim Da-hyun plans to take her first steps in the popular K-pop market not only in Korea but also in the overseas music market. Regarding this project, music industry insiders expressed interest, saying, “Considering the plan to release an English version, we expect that Dahyun Kim will showcase unique music,” and “It will not be a remodeling, but a 100% reconstruction.”

Dahyun Kim has previously showcased her outstanding singing ability as a traditional Korean trot singer through her first and second regular albums. Kim Dahyun, who has shown a perfect stage by performing various genres of songs that appeal to all generations through various broadcast activities, is having the busiest year since her debut by forming ‘Lucky Pang Pang’ while appearing on TV Chosun‘s ‘Miss Trot 2’, MBN’s ‘Current King of Singers’, and ‘Korea-Japan Top Ten Show’, and kicking off her advance into Japan by winning the MVP award at the ‘Korea-Japan King of Singers’, is having the busiest year since her debut.

Ahead of the release of the ‘Apartment’ song, Kim Dahyun will hold a showcase at Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo at 3 PM today, where she will reveal the English version of the song and screen the music video. In addition, after the showcase, she will attend the production presentation for the movie ‘Florence’, in which she was cast as actor Kim Min-jong‘s daughter, at the same location.
