The popular 1980s cartoon ‘Run, Honey’ is coming out as a theatrical animation.

According to distributor NEW on the 16th, ‘Bad Girl: Run, Honey’ will be released next year.

‘Bad Girl: Run, Honey’, which is being produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of ‘Run, Honey’, depicts the confrontation between high school track and field athlete Honey and her rival Na Ae-ri.

Anticipation is high for the performance of Na Ae-ri, who has returned more viciously, and Honey, who has returned after an injury.

‘Run, Honey’, which was serialized in the comic magazine ‘Treasure Island’ from the January 1985 issue to the June 1987 issue for a total of 30 episodes, was made into a popular TV animation in 1988.
