Actress Song Hye-kyo will be showing off a new side of herself in the film ‘The Girls in Black’, a spin-off of ‘The Priests’, as Sister Yunia, who will stop at nothing to save a boy.

‘The Nuns, which will be released on January 24, 2025, is a film that tells the story of people who undertake a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. By delicately expressing Yunia, who appears cold and indifferent but has a sincere heart, she has completed a new character never seen before, and she is expected to show off an irreplaceable presence with her solid charisma. Also, Jeon Yeo-bin, who plays Sister Michaela, who harbors resentment toward Yunia but is also inclined to her, will show off her new acting chemistry with the two nuns who are willing to take risks to save the boy, raising expectations that she will captivate the audience with her special chemistry.

Director Kwon Hyuk-jae, who was in charge of directing, mentioned, “As Sister Yunia, there are many moments in the movie where Song Hye-kyo‘s words, expressions, and eyes, Song Hye-kyo’s face itself shines as a strong mise-en-scène,” and Song Hye-kyo also raised expectations by saying, “I only thought about Sister Yunia and lived as that character for three months.”
