To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the birth of ‘Run, Honey’, two teaser posters have been released as the first theatrical animation is presented.

The first theatrical animation ‘Bad Girl: Run, Honey’ (Original: Lee Jin-joo‘s Run, Honey | Planning/Production: Playkan Inc. | Director: Heo Jeong-soo | Distribution: NEW) contains the story of Honey and her rival Na Ae-ri as high school students. ‘Run, Honey’ began as a comic serialized in the comic magazine ‘Treasure Island’ from the January 1985 to June 1987 issue for a total of 30 episodes, and was first aired as a TV animation on KBS in 1988, gaining huge popularity.

The story revolves around Ha-ni, who lives alone in the attic of an apartment after losing her mother, meeting Mr. Hongdukke upon entering middle school and developing her dream of becoming a track and field athlete. The story revolves around her longing for her parents and her rivalry with Na Ae-ri, capturing the hearts of many viewers.

The teaser poster that was released this time includes the copy, ‘The heart-pounding run begins’, reflecting the anticipation for the return of the legendary TV animation and the curiosity about the new original story for the theater version, raising curiosity about what kind of story the main characters, who will return for the first time in 40 years for the theater version, will bring.

The teaser trailer begins with Na Ae-ri’s narration, and in front of Na Ae-ri, who has taken over the Korean track and field world with her natural track and field skills, her rival Ha-ni appears, running at incredible speeds, stimulating Na Ae-ri. In addition, the character Junabi, who appears for the first time in the theater version, focuses on the attention.
