The movie ‘HomeCam’ (tentative title) cranked in on December 15th.

‘HomeCam’ is a story about ‘Sung-hee’, a single mom who balances work and childcare, who hires a helper to take care of her young daughter during the day and encounters a bizarre and uncontrollable fear as she installs home cams all over the house. It was selected as a 2024 Film Promotion Committee Independent Art Film Production Support Work and has already garnered attention for its complete scenario and strong appeal.

The reading scene stills of ‘HomeCam’, released along with the news of crank-in, foreshadow the fresh chemistry between the lead actors. First, Yoon Se-ah will play the role of single mom ‘Sung-hee’. She will vividly express the tough reality of working moms, while also portraying a desperate struggle to protect her daughter from an evil spirit that comes and goes through her home cam. Kwon Hyuk will play ‘Sung-hee’‘s neighbor ‘Su-rim’. ‘Sung-hee’ is a character who creates tension with her strange kindness towards her, while also sensing the energy of an evil spirit. Kwon Hyuk plans to show a strong acting transformation through this role.

‘Homecam’ was directed by Oh Se-ho, who directed ‘A Room of One’s Own’ and has experience as an assistant director for ‘Birthday’, ‘Drive’, ‘Special Delivery’, ‘Bong-i Kim Seon-dal’. Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, which was in charge of distribution of ‘Ameba Girls and School Ghost Story Opening Anniversary’, ‘Will You Get Married?’, etc., took charge of main investment, co-production, and distribution.
