Actress Jeon Yeo-bin will be showing off a unique acting transformation as the suspicious and curious Sister Michaela in the spin-off film ‘The Nuns’ of ‘The Priests’.

‘The Nuns’, which will be released on January 24, 2025, is a film about people who participate in a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. Jeon Yeo-bin plays Michaela, who participates in the forbidden ritual to save the suffering boy.
Michaela is a psychiatrist and a disciple of Father Paul. She claims that she has no symptoms of possession, but she is confused about the phenomenon that cannot be explained by medicine. At first, she feels repulsion towards Sister Junia who stubbornly asks her to help her, but she gradually becomes curious as she sees her willingness to do anything to save the boy. Jeon Yeo-bin, who excellently portrayed the multi-layered character of Michaela, is expected to increase the immersion of the drama with her even more delicate acting skills.

Director Kwon Hyuk-jae praised her, saying, “I was able to portray Michaela’s growth and change in a more three-dimensional way because Jeon Yeo-bin did it,” and Jeon Yeo-bin also explained, “I tried to look into Michaela’s mind. I thought that the detailed gaze of Michaela in a certain situation was important, so I tried my best to truly perceive the situation the character was in.”
