The movie ‘(G)I-DLE World Tour [Idol] in Cinema’, which contains a live concert by girl group (G)I-DLE, will be released exclusively by CGV.

‘(G)I-DLE World Tour [Idol] in Cinema’, is a visualization of (G)I-DLE‘s third world tour ‘Idol (iDOL)’ (2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN SEOUL), which was held at KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park in August. This concert was held in 14 cities including Hong Kong, the United States, and Macau, and the Seoul concert was very popular, selling out all tickets within 10 minutes of ticket sales opening. You can experience (G)I-DLE’s representative songs such as ‘Super Lady’, ‘LATATA’, ‘Queencard’, and ‘TOMBOY’ in theaters.

‘(G)I-DLE World Tour [Idol] in Cinema’, released by CGV, will also be presented in CGV special theaters SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX formats. SCREENX vividly captures the members‘ expressions and movements, as well as the concert hall, through screens expanded on three sides, left, right, and front, giving the audience a feeling as if they were in the middle of the concert hall. 4DX implements motion effects to match (G)I-DLE’s splendid performance and uses various environmental effects for each song to provide a sense of immersion. ULTRA 4DX maximizes the effects of SCREENX and 4DX, providing a differentiated experience that can only be felt in theaters.
CGV plans to host various events to commemorate the release of ‘(G)I-DLE World Tour [Idol] in Cinema’. A special premium screening for fans will be held on the 7th, the day before the release. The premium screening, which featured a stage greeting from (G)I-DLE, sold out all eight tickets as soon as ticket sales opened, proving its explosive popularity. Additionally, (G)I-DLE photo cards will be given to viewers as a first-week special.
