The movie ‘Octonauts: Above and Beyond: Operation Polar Crusade’ has confirmed its release date for January 27th and released a 30-second trailer.

‘Octonauts: Above and Beyond: Operation Polar Crusade’ (hereafter ‘Octonauts: Operation Polar Crusade’), which has confirmed its release date for January 27th, has released a 30-second trailer containing the extreme adventures of the Octonauts as they travel the polar regions aboard an exploration ship. ‘Octonauts: Operation Polar Crusade’ is an ice adventure of the Octonauts and octoagents who are dispatched to protect the North and South Poles, where snow and ice are gradually melting. It is an environmental edutainment that depicts the crisis of the polar ecosystem caused by global warming along with the Octonauts‘ winter exploration. It is expected to be an educational and fun way for young audiences by explaining the climate crisis and the resulting ecological problems occurring from various aspects such as melting glaciers, permafrost, and earlier winters in an easy-to-understand manner.



The released 30-second trailer begins with the Octonauts and Agent Octonauts enjoying the snow in a peaceful polar region, wearing snow suits. Soon, when an unknown crisis is detected in the polar region, Captain Barnacles on the Octopod gives the order to dispatch, “Octonauts, all Arctic missions!” The Octonauts and Agent Octonauts dispatched to the polar region brave harsh blizzards and escape crises aboard the Terra exploration ship. The exploration ship that catches the eye is definitely the new exploration ship Terra 7. The rabbit-shaped Terra 7 shows off its charm as a unique exploration ship that has never been seen before, jumping across a snowy field and causing a blizzard. In addition, the appearance of Terra 4 and Terra 5, which have upgraded their functions to be suitable for polar regions, adds to the thrill. Attention is focused on the adventure of the Octonauts as they leave the sea and face the unpredictable polar environment full of snow and ice.

The Octonauts’ exciting ice adventure ‘Octonauts Above and Beyond: Polar Mission’ will be released nationwide at Lotte Cinema on January 27, the start of the Lunar New Year holiday.
