Actor Ha Jung-woo becomes a ‘building owner’.
According to his agency Workhouse Company on the 14th, Ha Jung-woo will be appearing in the new drama ‘building owner’ (written by Errand Boy and directed by Yim Pil-sung).
‘building owner’ is a thriller that tells the story of a living-only building owner struggling with debt who commits a crime to protect his family and building, which are more precious than his life. Although he has become the building owner that everyone dreams of, he is actually struggling with debt. The story is about him participating in a kidnapping to overcome this crisis. The story will unfold as a fake kidnapping turns into a real kidnapping.
Ha Jung-woo plays the role of Ki Soo-jong, who becomes a building owner through ‘yeonggeul’ (short for ‘pulling together even the soul’). Ki Soo-jong is a gentle-natured, family-oriented building owner whose goal is to live each day diligently. However, he gets caught up in a kidnapping incident. Attention is being paid to what kind of character emotions Ha Jung-woo, who has played characters who unexpectedly face crises in several works, will deliver this time.
Ha Jung-woo will appear in a drama for the first time in his life since the Netflix original ‘Suriname’. He will also meet movie audiences this year with ‘Broken’ and his return to directing ‘Lobby’.
‘The Landlord’ will begin production once the casting process is finalized.
