The movie ‘The Nuns in Black’ has confirmed its IMAX® release.
On the 15th, distributor NEW released the IMAX® special theater poster for the movie ‘The Nuns in Black’ (provided/distributed by: NEW | produced by: Film Company Zip | directed by: Kwon Hyuk-jae), foreshadowing that it will present an even more overwhelming immersion in various formats.
‘The Nuns in Black’ is a story about people who embark on a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit, amidst the buzz surrounding the fresh combination of Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin. As the situations and emotions of characters with different beliefs are captured in a delicate art setting in order to save the boy ‘Hee-jun’, who is possessed by an evil spirit, the IMAX screen, which boasts a large screen, raises expectations that the tense process of the ritual will be experienced more vividly.
The IMAX poster that was released together catches the eye with the heavy presence of Song Hye-kyo as ‘Unia’ and Jeon Yeo-bin as ‘Michaela’ looking down from the stairs. Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin will convey a deep aftertaste by completing the two nuns who do not care about the means and methods for the ritual with their single-minded determination to save ‘Hee-jun’ with their detailed expressiveness.
‘The Nuns in Black’, which has raised curiosity by releasing the IMAX poster with such an intense aura, will captivate theaters during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday with its captivating story and passionate performances. It will be released in theaters nationwide on January 24, 2025.
