Actor Kwon Sang-woo did not spare his praise for Hwang Woo-seul-hye, his co-star in the movie ‘Hitman’.

‘Hitman 2’, which will be released on the 22nd, is a sequel to ‘Hitman’, which was released in 2020 and attracted 2.4 million viewers. It depicts what happens when Jun (Kwon Sang-woo), who suddenly fell from being a blockbuster writer to a ‘brain-killing writer’, is accused of being the culprit overnight after a terrorist attack imitating his ambitious new webtoon.

Kwon Sang-woo, who plays the main character Jun, said at a press and distribution preview held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 15th, “It wasn’t a lot of time, but I was with Seul-hye for a long time. I‘m really looking forward to acting. Hwang Woo Seul-hye’s unique atmosphere and way of speaking are unrivaled. I think that‘s a big part of what we’ll be able to see in our ‘Hitman’ series,“ he said.

He continued, ”Actually, I thought our movie would be rated 12 and up. But the reason it was rated 15 and up is because I, the husband, got hit so much (by my wife Hwang Woo Seul-hye). It doesn‘t show in the movie, but in reality, I got hit more. I was happy while getting hit because I thought the audience would enjoy those scenes. I hope our movie does well so that my chemistry with Seul-hye can continue,“ he said with a laugh.
