‘The Priests’ spin-off film ‘The Nuns’ starring Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin has confirmed its release date for January 24, 2025 and released its overseas poster.

‘The Nuns’ is a film that tells the story of people who perform a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. Expectations are high as the second story of ‘The Priests’, which opened a new chapter in Korean occult films when it was released in 2015 and captivated 5.44 million viewers.

In the film, Song Hye-kyo will once again show a new side of herself by taking on the role of Sister Junia, who prepares for the ritual by any means necessary to save the boy. Jeon Yeo-bin will take on the role of Sister Michaela, who decides to help Junia become a black nun. Expectations are high for the chemistry between Song Hye-kyo, who will dominate the screen as the bold and courageous nun Junia, and Jeon Yeo-bin, who will exude special charm as the curious and suspicious nun Michaela.

Lee Jin-wook plays the role of Father Paul, a psychiatrist who does not believe in the existence of the devil, and Moon Woo-jin plays the role of Hee-jun, a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.

The overseas posters that were released capture the strong tension in the backs of Junia and Michaela heading somewhere with the boy suffering from the evil spirit, arousing curiosity.
