The group Ace (Park Jun-hee, Lee Dong-hoon, Wow, Kim Byung-kwan, Kang Yoo-chan) will release their third single album ‘PINATA’ at 6 PM on the 20th.

‘PINATA’ is Ace‘s first new album since ‘Gunbaekgi’ and the first album as a complete group in about 3 years. Ace returns with an upgraded look, adding more mature skills, visuals, and mindset to their original conceptual charm.

The name of this album, ‘PINATA’, is inspired by the piñata, a doll used in children’s festivals in the US and Central and South American countries, and is reinterpreted as sealing away negative emotions and senses such as human sadness and pain. Ace is a rebel seeking recovery from a controlled worldview, waiting for this ‘PINATA’ to open up to the world. Furthermore, the story of making November 20th Liberation Day and advancing to return emotions to the world is realized with well-made music and content.

The title song of the same name, ‘PINATA’, was inspired by director Christopher Nolan‘s film ‘Tenet’, and presents a magnificent emotional line as if watching a blockbuster movie. The energetic vocals of the five members of Ace blend with various sound sources on top of the three-dimensional distortion bass to complete a powerful sound. In addition, member Park Jun-hee participated in the lyrics, establishing Ace’s identity along with the perfection.

Along with this, a total of four songs are included, including ‘Intro: Recuerda, recuerda’ (Intro: Recuerda Recuerda) that samples Mozart‘s Requiem, the English version of ‘PINATA’ that is mixed more dynamically, and an instrumental version. ‘Intro: Recuerda, recuerda’ was previously pre-released with a splendid performance and trailer, garnering much attention.

The ‘PINATA’ music video, which will be released along with the song on this day, also features a high-difficulty mega performance with a 49-member dance crew. Ace’s strong appearance as they march toward Judgement Day will be showcased. Ace‘s journey of liberation is expected to give thrilling pleasure to global fans.

Ace released the special singles ‘Supernatural’, ‘Anymore’, and ‘Just Better’ this year, after all members completed their military service, and successfully completed a solo concert tour of 3 cities in Japan, 14 cities in North America, and 14 cities in Latam and Europe. In particular, ‘Supernatural’, ‘Anymore’ became the first K-pop artist to earn two consecutive diamond plaques on the US DRT chart, and also showed their presence in local Mediabase and Luminate data.
