British band Oasis, who announced a reunion in August to celebrate their 30th debut anniversary, have Korean fans excited by hinting at a Korean concert.

On the 20th, Oasis simultaneously posted photos of electronic billboards in Seoul and Tokyo on their official SNS accounts with the caption, “FRIDAY 22ND NOVEMBER / Friday, November 22nd / 11月22日 金曜日”. The COEX electronic billboard in Samseong-dong contained the powerful phrase, “Words become seeds”, which was enough to grab attention.

Earlier in September, British music weekly NME reported, “Oasis will perform in Seoul, Tokyo, Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Boston, Los Angeles, and Mexico City”.

There is an ongoing heated response as to whether Oasis‘ domestic concert will become a reality.

Meanwhile, Oasis, which was formed in 1991, topped the UK charts with all seven of their regular albums released. They achieved great success, selling over 90 million copies worldwide, and led the revival of Britpop. They were loved for numerous hit songs such as ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’ Look Back in Anger’, and ‘Live Forever’. However, they disbanded in 2009 due to the discord between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. After 15 years, they announced that Oasis would reunite, exciting fans around the world.
