The group YOUNG POSSE will be presenting a special stage paying homage to Seo Taiji and Boys at ‘MAMA’.

Young POSSE will be performing on stage at the ‘2024 MAMA AWARDS’ (hereafter ‘MAMA’) held at the Dolby Theater in LA today (the 21st, local time).

This will be Young POSSE‘s first time performing on the ‘MAMA’ stage since his debut in October of last year. Young POSSE has proven his rapid growth by being nominated for the Best New Female Artist category thanks to his popularity both domestically and internationally.

Young POSSE is determined to properly showcase the charm of K-hip-hop through this stage. Since the awards ceremony will be held in LA, the birthplace of hip-hop, Young POSSE is preparing a powerful performance that incorporates California culture with unique local dancers. They will also pay homage to Seo Taiji and Boys’ ‘Come Back Home’, and are expected to implement a perfect narrative with a freestyle rap stage that will imprint the team called Youngpa on stage.

Youngpa has established herself as the ‘daughter of Korean hip-hop’ with music that has a genuine hip-hop sound, such as ‘MACARONI CHEESE’, ‘XXL’, and ‘ATE THAT’. Riding on word-of-mouth from listeners at home and abroad, Youngpa has won two trophies at major domestic award ceremonies this year alone, and announced the birth of a ‘global rookie’ by heating up 12 cities in the Americas with her first American tour, ‘THE HUNGRY TOUR’.

Youngpa will be attending ‘MAMA’, held at the Dolby Theater in LA, USA today (the 21st), and gracing the stage. They will then hold their first fan concert ‘THE HUNGRY TOUR - FINAL IN SEOUL’ at Yes24 Wonderlock Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul on the 29th and meet with their fans.
