Group ONEUS (Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, Xion) released the digital single ‘Rupert‘s Tears (Rupert’s drop)‘ on the 9th at noon.

’Rupert‘s Tears (Rupert’s drop)’ is a new song by ONEUS about 7 months after the release of the digital single ‘Now (Original by Fin.KL)’ in May. The song title was inspired by ‘Prince Rupert‘s Tears’, which means tempered glass beads that are made by rapidly cooling molten glass to have strong stress.

ONEUS has received much love for their conceptual worldviews such as a human monarch who becomes a vampire, Pygmalion who breathes new life into himself, and a mysterious and dreamy mermaid prince. This time, they delivered sweetness with ‘Rupert’s Tears (Rupert‘s drop)‘.

’Rupert’s drop’ is a pop genre song that stands out with its delicate acoustic guitar sound. It contains the story of the members who, like ‘Rupert‘s drop‘, are born strong in the hot flames but break in an instant with even the smallest shock, and melt endlessly in front of Two Moon (fandom name). Member Seoho directly participated in writing the lyrics, adding sincerity.

In the music video that was released along with the song, the members of ONEUS acted out the moment they finally shine after meeting Two Moon. The cozy winter sensibility combined with the sensory visual beauty such as the splendid starlight and warm snowflakes covering the flower field is impressive.

ONEUS’ digital single ’Rupert‘s drop’ can be heard on various music sites starting at noon today (the 9th), and the group plans to continue its activities by releasing a special album in January next year and holding a final concert in Seoul in February.
