After KG, a member of multinational girl group Bitture, announced her withdrawal from the team due to JYP Entertainment (JYP)‘s treatment, JYP refuted KG’s claims, saying they were “false and exaggerated.”

On the 9th, JYP USA, the American branch of JYP, released an official statement, saying, “We deeply regret that KG unilaterally announced false and exaggerated information to the public and chose to take the approach of a lawsuit,” and “This is causing great damage to the other members of Bitture, who are diligently preparing for an album release in the first half of 2025 and various other plans, as well as to our company.”

KG, who debuted as a member of Bitture in January, announced on the 8th that he had filed a lawsuit against JYP to withdraw from the team and terminate his exclusive contract. He cited unfair treatment from certain employees, payment issues, and a work and living environment that was not good for his mental health as reasons for leaving the team through his personal SNS.

Regarding this, the agency stated, “After KG left the group‘s dorm in May, he requested discussions through his legal representative. Accordingly, our company has temporarily suspended BiCho’s future activities and has been discussing various solutions with KG‘s representative,” adding, “However, we have not heard back from KG regarding the matters discussed recently, and our representative has also been waiting for a response.”

JYP, which denied all of KG’s claims, emphasized, “We plan to take all necessary measures to ensure that the other members of BiCho and our company do not suffer any further damage due to this issue.”

Below is JYP USA‘s full statement.
Hello, this is JYP USA.

We would like to convey our position regarding Kiera Grace Madder’s (hereafter KG) lawsuit and statement on social media.

Last May, KG requested discussions through her legal representative after leaving the group’s dorm. Accordingly, our company has temporarily suspended VCHA’s future plans and has been discussing various solutions with KG’s representative. However, we have not heard back from KG regarding the matters discussed recently, and our representative has also been waiting for a response.

In these circumstances, we deeply regret that KG has unilaterally released false and exaggerated information and has chosen to go through a lawsuit. This is causing great damage to the other members of VCHA, who are diligently preparing for the release of the album in the first half of the year and various other plans, as well as to our company.

We would like to inform you that we plan to take all necessary measures to prevent any further damage to the other members of VCHA and our company due to this matter.
