The group Stray Kids has revealed the music video teaser for the title track ‘Walkin On Water’ of their new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’.

The teaser video captures the unique charms and individuality of the eight members, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. With a grand and hip sound, it announces the splendid return of the concept-rich group, and the anticipation for the full music video is heightened with the addition of modern, trendy elements to the classic beauty. In particular, Stray Kids has garnered attention for the overwhelming sense of scale and visual beauty that they will present in this music video with their unique directing that intuitively implements the word ‘Water’ in the song title.

SKZHOP HIPTAPE is a combination of the abbreviation of the group name ‘SKZ’ and hip-hop (HIP-HOP), and is a sign of ‘Stray Kids‘ new genre’ that has never been seen before. Their first work ‘合 (HOP)’ has an ambiguous meaning, combining the English name of the hip-hop genre ‘HOP’, with the harmony completed by the eight members. The group’s producing team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, participated in the production of the title song ‘Walkin On Water’.

Recently, Stray Kids were nominated for awards in the Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist categories at the ‘2024 Billboard Music Awards’ (‘2024 BBMAs’), which will be held on the 12th (local time), receiving support from fans both domestically and internationally.

Stray Kids‘ new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’ and the title song ‘Walkin On Water’ will be officially released on Friday, December 13 at 2 PM (12 AM EST).
