The group Baby Monster has confirmed their first year-end stage appearance since their debut.
According to their agency YG Entertainment on the 10th, Baby Monster will be appearing at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Gayo Daejeon’) to be held at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 25th. They will perform the band version of ‘DRIP’, one of the double title tracks from their first full-length album [DRIP].
As this is their first and only domestic year-end stage this year, even greater attention is being paid to them. Recently, Baby Monster has proven their overwhelming live performance skills several times through their first full-length album [DRIP] promotions, music shows, fan meetings, festivals, etc., captivating the hearts of music fans around the world.
In particular, the ‘DRIP’ performance to be presented to a newly arranged sound is garnering much attention. YG said, “We have prepared a special stage to thank the fans who have been with us since our debut in 2024,” and “We will heat up the end of the year with an even more powerful performance and energy.”
Additionally, the meeting connected through YG DNA is expected to be a hot response. The day before, senior artist 2NE1 officially announced their appearance at the ‘Gayo Daejun’ for the first time in 10 years. The two YG girl groups who previously showed off warm chemistry at the 15th anniversary concert in Seoul are expected to meet again on the end-of-year stage.
Baby Monster is scheduled to release the music video for ‘Love In My Heart’, the follow-up song to their first regular album [DRIP], on the 16th. They will also be appearing on Japan‘s TV Asahi’s ‘Music Station’ on the 27th and on TBS‘s ‘CDTV Live! Live!’ and fill up the end of the year with global fans.
With this momentum, they will fire the starting pistol for their first world tour since their debut at KSPO DOME in Seoul on January 25th and 26th next year. After announcing their lightning-quick entry into KSPO DOME as a new K-pop girl group, they will then head to New Jersey and Los Angeles in the U.S., and Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka in Japan to expand their global base.
