Group Ace member and actor Kang Yoo-chan is challenging himself in a musical.

On the 11th, his agency Beat Interactive announced, “Ace Kang Yoo-chan will be appearing in the musical ‘Anarchist’, which opens in January next year, as Moo-hyeok.”

‘Anarchist’ is a musical that depicts the lives, dreams, and struggles of the three revolutionaries, Moo-hyeok, Deok-hyung, and Ja-kyung, who are prepared to give up everything for their country‘s independence. The clumsy yet bold revolution of these three young men amidst the historical vortex of the independence movement is expected to provide a new understanding and resonance of history.

In the play, Kang Yoo-chan plays the role of Moo-hyeok, who has a soul as free as the wind and as solid as a rock, and expresses his growth process from an orphan boy to realizing that he must establish his own country. As a key character leading the entire production, expectations are high for the stage that Kang Yoo-chan will unfold with his deep acting and singing ability.

Kang Yoo-chan, the main vocalist of Ace, is also showing his all-round skills as an actor through various works. Recently, he has further increased his presence through his role as the lead character Cha Hong-yeon in the web drama ‘Timetable’. With his first musical, ‘Anarchist’, attention is focused on what kind of character transformation and growth Kang Yoo-chan will show.

The musical ‘Anarchist’ starring Kang Yoo-chan will be performed at the Seoul Link Art Center Dream Dream 3 Theater from January 14 to April 6 next year, and the first round of tickets will open on the online ticket sales site Ticket Link at 3 PM on the 12th.

Ace, which Kang Yoo-chan is a part of, recently made a comeback with the full album ‘PINATA’ after three years and is actively promoting in various music shows and content.
