Guitarist Shin Dae-chul, along with fellow musicians, revealed his position on the impeachment situation.

On the 10th, Shin Dae-chul said on his social media account, “The country of K-pop, which we poured our souls into, is being viewed overseas as a politically underdeveloped country,” and “The country of K-pop is becoming a country of martial law and civil war, and is being called a two-faced country. I am afraid that the music we have worked so hard to create will be denigrated.”

He then proposed a declaration of the current situation by musicians calling for an impeachment resolution, saying, “When the country functions normally, we can continue healthy music activities.”

Meanwhile, Shin Dae-chul is the son of singer Shin Jung-hyun, known as the “godfather of Korean rock,” and is active as the leader and guitarist of the band Sinawe.
