They are living up to their name as a ‘in-geup-dol’ with their seasonal song.
Fifty Fifty is in a year-end frenzy with their debut season song, ‘When You Say My Name’.
An example is the video that is rapidly rising in popularity on YouTube. On the chart commonly referred to as ‘in-geup-dong’, ‘When You Say My Name’ caught attention by rising to the top of the comprehensive chart that encompasses not only the music category but also games/movies in just two days after the music video was released on the 11th.
Their success on the in-geup-dong chart is based on a surge in views. The official music video for ‘When You Say My Name’ was first released on YouTube in the afternoon of the 9th and has easily surpassed 2.7 million cumulative views as of the 11th, the second day of its release.
In the midst of the seasonal song rush where several songs are released every day, Fifty Fifty‘s ‘When You Say My Name’ is the closest to the typical winter song format, ‘custom’, and it has chosen the ‘straightforward’ strategy of putting all the members’ so-called ‘unt-less’ extremely strong singing skills to the forefront, doubling its presence.
In particular, Fifty Fifty, as for vocals, has been gathering attention by fully showing off their unedited live performance through their appearance on the popular music channel ‘Hello82’.
Fifty Fifty also earned the nickname ‘In-Geup-dol’, an idol with a strong popularity, with the double hit ‘SOS’ ‘Gravity’, which they released as their comeback songs last fall.
Fifty Fifty is holding a fan concert in North America this month called ‘Promised Land’, which is practically a ‘National Tour’.
