The group SEVENTEEN will be coloring the end of the year in style by taking over a popular Disney program in the US.

According to ABC on the 11th (local time), SEVENTEEN will be the first K-pop artist to appear on the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’, which will air on the 25th, and will perform a solo stage of ‘Rockin‘ Around the Christmas Tree’.

‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ is one of the most popular holiday season programs in the US, and airs every year during prime time on December 25th. A parade of Disney characters beloved around the world and performances by legendary pop stars will take place for 2 hours.

SEVENTEEN has proven their rising status in North America by being named as a performer for the ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ alongside Elton John, John Legend, and more. The program will be hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, hosts of ABC‘s long-running dance competition program ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

SEVENTEEN also made a strong impression on local viewers when they appeared on ABC’s ‘Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular’, which aired earlier this month, as the first K-pop artists. The program is also streaming on Disney+.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will be competing for the ‘Top K-pop Touring Artist’ award at the ‘2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs)’ to be held in the United States on the 12th. They will also perform the title track of their 12th mini album, ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME’.

The world tour ‘Seventeen Right Here World Tour’ will also continue. Having previously sold out the Vantelin Dome Nagoya and Tokyo Dome in Japan, drawing an audience of 190,000, they will continue their tour at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Fukuoka PayPay Dome.
