The group TEMPEST has successfully concluded their solo concert in Japan.
Tempest held their solo concert ‘2024 TEMPEST Concert Tea Hour: Tempest Voyage in Japan’ in Osaka and Tokyo on the 14th and 15th.
On that day, TEMPEST performed their Japanese pre-debut songs ‘Badist Behavior’, ‘Dragon (비상)’, ‘Yeon and Wild’ as the opening stage and greeted their fans.
Tempest said, “This is their first solo concert in Japan in 1 year and 4 months. iE (official fandom name) and all of us have waited this long, so let‘s have fun today,“ showing their enthusiastic aspirations.
Tempest then prepared songs that were officially released in Japan, such as ‘Bang!’ and ‘Bubble Gum’, as well as songs by original Japanese idol groups Smap and Arashi. They also performed a cover stage of Backstreet Boys’ ‘Last Christmas’ to match the end-of-year atmosphere, which received a great response.
Tempest in particular performed ‘Eye of the Storm’ and ‘Can‘t Stop Shining’, which recently garnered attention for their unique arrangements and performances on Mnet’s boy group survival show ‘Road to Kingdom: Ace to Ace’, as well as the Japanese versions of Stray Kids‘ ‘Maniac’ and ‘Lighthouse’. In addition, member LEW personally choreographed the ‘Slow Motion’ stage, which was revealed for the first time.
Tempest, who have since filled the stage with various compositions and setlists, said, “I wanted to meet you all at the concert soon, but I’m happy that you enjoyed it so much, and I think I gained a lot of energy today. I will continue to remember this stage today and repay you with good music and performances.”.
Tempest ranked 7th on the Oricon Daily Album Chart at the same time as the release of their second Japanese mini-album ‘Bubble Gum’ on the 11th. Tempest, who received a hot response by releasing their Japanese debut mini-album ‘Bang!’ in April, is solidifying their global presence by recording improved results with their new album after 8 months.
Meanwhile, Tempest plans to continue to meet global fans in Korea, Japan, and around the world.
