Singer Daesung has finished his Japanese live tour.

Daesung held the last performance of the ‘D-LITE JAPAN LIVE TOUR 2024 “D’s IS ME” - Encore’ (hereafter ‘D’s IS ME’) concert in Kobe, Japan on the afternoon of the 15th.

This performance was part of Daesung‘s Japan live tour ‘D’s IS ME’ encore concert that was held for about two months starting in April of this year, and was held four times in two cities, Tokyo and Kobe, starting on the 30th of last month.

Daesung performed ‘Wings’, ‘Ai’, ‘Rainy Rainy’, and ‘Ai’, ‘Rainy Rainy’, in the live arena tour that day. From ‘Rainie’ to Big Bang acoustic and dance medley, the diverse setlist captivated both the eyes and ears of local fans.

The ending of the encore concert, in particular, was enough to move the audience. Daesung surprised fans with a new song, ‘Umbrella (傘) (D’s IS ME Limited Edition)’ for the last stage, showcasing his refreshing yet appealing vocals, and ended the concert with a lingering aftertaste amidst enthusiastic cheers.

‘Umbrella’ is a new song being released approximately 7 years after ‘Delight2’ released in 2017. As Daesung directly participated in writing the lyrics, the limited edition album containing ‘Umbrella’ proved Daesung’s solid popularity even after 19 years since his debut by selling out every day at concert halls in Tokyo and Kobe.

This year, Daesung has met the public with more activity than anyone else. Starting with the release of the single ‘Falling Slowly’, he communicated with local fans around the world with his first solo domestic fan day ‘D’s ROAD’, a live tour ‘D’s IS ME’ held in 10 cities in Japan, and continued Asian fan days in Taipei, Bangkok, etc.

In addition, Daesung, who led seasons 1 and 2 as an MC for MBN‘s ‘Korea-Japan Top Ten Show’ and as a host for YouTube channel ‘Home (Outdoor) Daesung’, also excited global fans by performing on stage with G-Dragon and Taeyang at the recent ‘2024 MAMA AWARDS’.

Daesung plans to continue his diverse activities in 2025 as well.
