Group POW has entered the ‘Jingle Ball Tour’, a large-scale year-end festival in the United States.

POW met the local audience on the Jingle Ball Tour stage held in New York on the 13th (local time). They performed a total of four songs, including their debut song ‘Favorite’, ‘Slow Dancing’, ‘Dazzling’, ‘Boyfriend’, with solid live performances, receiving a great response.

Despite it being their first ‘Jingle Ball Tour’ appearance, they brought out the ‘sing-along’ with their splendid performance. POW, who heated up the atmosphere with their performance, said, “I can feel the energy of New York. I’m really happy. Let‘s make this moment shine together,“ he said, drawing attention by communicating directly with the audience in fluent English.

In particular, before the ‘Boyfriend’ stage, Pau said, “This song is a remake of Avril Lavigne’s ‘Girlfriend’. It‘s an honor to be able to remake a song by such an iconic artist,” giving local fans a sense of nostalgia and a fresh charm at the same time.

As it is a year-end festival where artists who showed global activities that year gather in one place and perform on stage, Pau’s ‘Jingle Ball Tour’ New York stage this time garnered attention from local media. New York‘s popular radio channel ‘Z100 New York’ released an interview with Pau, further highlighting their global presence.

Earlier, foreign media outlets such as Billboard and NME also called Pau the ‘K-pop underdog’ and highlighted his growth story.

Meanwhile, the ‘Jingle Ball Tour’ is a large-scale music festival held by iHeartMedia, the largest media group in the U.S., every year at the end of the year, touring major cities in the U.S.
