Group ZEROBASEONE continues their unrivaled popularity by releasing their first EP in Japan.

ZEROBASEONE (Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Jang Ha-o, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Kyu-bin, Park Gun-wook, Han Yu-jin) will release their first Japanese EP ‘PREZENT’ on January 29, 2025.

Prior to this, ZEROBASEONE released the cover image and pack shot images of ‘PREZENT’, consisting of a total of 4 types (regular edition, first press A&B, animation edition) through their official SNS at noon today (17th). It includes photo cards shot with different concepts for each version, increasing its collection value.

‘PREZENT’ is an album that expresses gratitude to ZEROBASEONE (fandom name) for the syndrome-level popularity they gained with their Japanese debut. With a total of 6 songs, including 4 original Japanese new songs, the album is expected to be a gift-like album, just like its EP title.

In particular, ‘PREZENT’ demonstrates ZEROBASEONE‘s wide musical spectrum with its double title track composition. You can experience a different side of ZEROBASEONE with ‘NOW OR NEVER’, which combines drum and bass with rock sounds, and ‘Only One Story’, which was selected as the latest opening song for the popular TV animation ‘Pokemon’.

ZEROBASEONE previously debuted as a ‘Half Million Seller’ within a week of their first Japanese single ‘YuraYura -運命の花- (YuraYura -Unmei no Hana-)’, and with this single, they received ‘Double Platinum’ certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, which is given to works that have achieved cumulative shipments of over 500,000 copies based on March shipments.

With this popularity, ZEROBASEONE ranked 1st on the K-POP TOP20 of the ‘2024 Best Sellers’ announced by Japan’s largest record shop Tower Records with ‘YuraYura -運命の花-’, and 16th on Billboard Japan‘s annual ‘Top Single Sales’ chart, proving the ‘ZB1 fever’ in Japan, so interest in this first EP is also growing.

Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE’s first Japanese EP ‘PREZENT’ will be released on the 29th of next month.
