‘D Awards with UPICK - Bringing Dreams and Delights to the world with our music!’

Sports Donga, Korea‘s top sports and entertainment daily, will host the ‘D Awards’(D Awards), a K-pop awards ceremony, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Anam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

The Awards, which cheers on those who have made K-pop shine in the world, was established to further promote and encourage K-pop, believing that the background to its global popularity was its faithfulness in providing ‘Dreams’(Dreams) and ‘Delights.

The awards ceremony will be held under the theme of ‘D Awards Delights’(D Awards Delights) and ‘D The awards will be divided into two categories: ‘D Awards Dreamers’. The ‘D Awards Delight’ is the main award given to K-pop artists who have been very active throughout the year, and ‘D Awards Dreamer’ is given to excellent new artists who will lead K-content in the future.

The ‘YEARS’ title that made K-pop shine in 2024 will be awarded in categories such as Artist, Album, Song, Performance, Rookie, and Globalist of the Year. In addition, the Dear Awards selects and awards the Dear Awards ‘Iconic’ who meaningfully highlight and support members encompassing the past, present, and future of K-pop.

The first Dear Awards ceremony, which took its first steps in Korea, the ‘home’ of K-pop, has global fandom platform ‘Upick’ as its naming sponsor. The Dear Awards ‘Fanpick’, one of the major award categories and awarded with 100% fan participation, will be hosted by Upick. Details and schedule for the official voting will be announced later.
