Bandoneonist Ko Sang-ji to remake ‘SHOW’ created by Kim Dong-ryul… New single to be released on the 19th

Bandoneonist Ko Sang-ji will present ‘El Homenaje Vol. 3’ as a project to reinterpret the music of great musicians and artists, following Bach, Chopin, and Schubert. The main character of this single is Kim Dong-ryul, whom he has long respected and worked with. Kim Dong-ryul plans to present the sound of ‘SHOW’ by Kim Won-jun, written and composed by Kim Dong-ryul and released in 1996, reinterpreted with bandoneon.

‘SHOW’, characterized by its cheerful and hopeful melody, was a huge hit at the time of its release. Even now, about 30 years later, it is still being remade by various artists.

Ko Sang-ji performed this song during the intermission of Kim Dong-ryul‘s concert ‘Melody’ last year. The bandoneon sound, which made the atmosphere of the concert even more intense, heightened the excitement of the concert and drew admiration from the audience. Ko Sang-ji decided to release an official sound source containing a collaboration with piano, violin, and contrabass to preserve the good memories of this concert and to give it to the listeners.

Ko Sang-ji’s new single ‘El Homenaje Vol. 3’ will be available on various online music sites on Thursday, December 19 at 12 PM.
