DAY6, the first K-pop band to enter Gocheok Dome…
Middle-aged band DAY6, writing a new history in their 10th year, will be the first K-pop band to enter Gocheok Sky Dome today (the 20th).
DAY6 will hold their solo concert ‘2024 DAY6 Special Concert ’The Present’’(2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’) at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul on December 20th and 21st.
This concert is the first Gocheok Dome performance by a domestic band and is a special concert held about a year after ‘DAY6 Christmas Special Concert ’The Present: You are My Day’(Christmas Special Concert ‘The Present: You are My Day’) in December 2023, making it even more meaningful.
This year, DAY6 achieved numerous records with music they created themselves, He completed the ‘Year of DAY6’. In March of this year, during his military hiatus, he sang of eternity to My Day (fandom name: My Day) with the album ‘Fourever’, and in September, he gifted the strength to survive in a world full of comfort with the mini-album ‘Band Aid’. The title song ‘Melting’ of the album ‘Band Aid’ took first place on Melon‘s Top 100 chart, staying at the top, and swept Melon’s daily and weekly charts, reaching a career high. ‘Fourever’, the song ‘HAPPY’, was chosen as the public‘s pick and succeeded in a reverse run, topping the Melon Top 100 chart following ‘Melting’.
DAY6 also showed off their momentum with their concerts, selling out all tickets to three concert halls in Korea this year. In April, they successfully completed a concert where they became one with the audience at the ‘DAY6 CONCERT

Their entry into Gocheok Dome is expected to be a meaningful point for the group in its 10th year. Meanwhile, DAY6’s third world tour, which is being resumed after approximately 4 years and 8 months, is also being successfully completed.
