Kyuhyun Completes Asia Tour Seoul Concert… From Ballads, Dance, and Musicals
Singer Kyuhyun announced the start of his Asia tour in Seoul.
Kyuhyun held his Asia tour ‘KYUHYUN 10th Anniversary Asia Tour ’COLORS‘ in Seoul’ (hereafter ‘COLORS’) for three days from the 20th to the 22nd at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut.
‘COLORS’ is an Asia tour with the same title as Kyuhyun‘s first full-length album released last month, and all tickets for the three concerts in Seoul were sold out as soon as pre-sales opened, proving Kyuhyun’s immense ticket power.
Kyuhyun opened the concert with ‘Restart’, released in January. He heightened the concert atmosphere by going back and forth between freshness and warmth with ‘Together’, ‘Journey’, ‘Time with you’, and ‘Last Poem’. Kyuhyun then performed a medley of drama OSTs, drawing a hot response with a stage reminiscent of a musical performance with ‘Nights Without You’.
As it was a year-end concert, Kyuhyun performed the carols ‘It‘s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas‘ and ’Last Christmas‘, and also visited the 2nd and 3rd floors to provide special fan service. On the ’Bring It On‘ stage that followed, Kyuhyun performed a live performance of a Super Junior medley, heating up the concert hall while showing off his dance and rap skills. Kyuhyun also performed the ’Best 5 Ballads‘, which were selected through a pre-vote by fans.
In the latter half of the concert, Kyuhyun passionately sang representative songs including the title song ’Unending Days‘ from his regular album ’COLORS‘, as well as ’That’s Not So‘, ’Dreaming‘, ’At Gwanghwamun‘, and as his last song, he performed ’Wishes‘.
In this way, Kyuhyun created a highly perfected concert, living up to the title of the concert ’COLORS‘, by unfolding his musical world like a prism, including ballads, dance, OSTs, and musicals. While looking back on his past musical journey, he also announced the grand start of a tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of his solo debut, previewing Kyuhyun‘s wide musical spectrum that will expand even further in the future.
After successfully wrapping up the Seoul concert, Kyuhyun will meet local fans in Kaohsiung on January 4, followed by Hong Kong, Jakarta, Taipei, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macau, and Manila.
