Group 82major‘s Kim Do-gyun is releasing a collaboration song with Juvenile.

On the 24th, the agency Great M Entertainment released a surprise jacket photo through their official SNS and announced that Kim Do-gyun and Juvenile’s new song ‘Letter’ (feat. KIMDOGYUN, 82MAJOR) will be released on January 24, 2025.

This new song is a global project by Juvenile, who is active in Japan as a DJ and music producer. It is especially meaningful as it is Kim Do-gyun‘s first solo song through a featuring since his debut.

‘Letter’ is a sentimental ballad that is perfect for listening to in the winter, featuring the exquisite interplay of Kim Do-gyun’s appealing singing ability and Juvenile‘s emotional melody line. Joobnaile participated in the composition and arrangement, and 82 Major members Kim Do-gyun and Hwang Seong-bin participated in the lyrics, increasing the perfection.

Kim Do-gyun said through his agency, “I’m very happy and excited to be working with Joobnaile. Even though we speak different languages, we were able to communicate sufficiently through music and do great work.”

He added, “I think it would be nice if you watched the music video together with the lyrics. The storyline and emotions of the lyrics, which I wrote when I first heard the melody, will go well with the pretty scenery in the music video, so I think you‘ll be able to feel even deeper emotions.”

Joobnaile wrote, composed, and arranged the theme song ‘IMMORTAL’ for the 2024 TV animation ‘The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer’, and participated in singing it directly as an artist. He is also active as a music producer, with the number of YouTube views for songs he worked on, including RADIO FISH’s ‘PERFECT HUMAN’, reaching 100 million.

82MAJOR (Nam Sung-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Sung-bin, Kim Do-gyun), which Kim Do-gyun belongs to, released their second mini-album ‘X-82’ last October and achieved meaningful results with the title song ‘Tip of the Tongue’. Recently, they ranked 6th on the US DRT ‘GLOBAL TOP 150 INDEPENDENT AIRPLAY CHART’ and 112th on the DRT ‘GLOBAL TOP 200 AIRPLAY CHART’, continuing a steady upward trend.
