Ive, Christmas nostalgia trip… Santa transformation for DIVE
Group Ive has released surprise content for Christmas.
Today (25th), Ive released a Christmas commemorative content video titled ‘IVE‘s 4th Christmas You can laugh, you can cry! If I talk? No’ through their official YouTube channel.
In the video, the members sit side by side in a space decorated with a tree and Christmas decorations and start singing the nursery rhyme ‘Don‘t Cry’. Then, saying “The fourth Christmas with DIVE (official fan club name) is approaching”, they introduced content looking back on videos of moments they want to see again, or moments that made them laugh, cry, or surprise them.
Earlier, the members each decided on forbidden words. Gaeul was ‘No’, Lay was ‘Dive’, Lee Seo was ‘Sister’, Ahn Yu-jin was ‘Ah!’, Jang Won-young was ‘What is it?’, and lastly Liz was ‘Why’. Each time a banned word was said, one point would be deducted, and the person with the highest score would choose the Christmas present prepared by the production team.
The members who started watching old videos in earnest couldn’t avoid the deduction of points from the beginning due to the members‘ childish appearances in the videos, reacting strongly with “What is it?””Ah!”. When the behind-the-scenes video of their debut song ‘ELEVEN(엘레븐) music video came out, they couldn’t hide their surprise, saying ”Why were we so babies back then?“ When the video of their Lollapalooza stage came on, they recalled the heated cheers of the audience, saying “This has already been a long time ago, we really had fun back then.
Next, when a funny moment from Ga-eul in the ‘Kitsch(키치)’ choreography practice video appeared, they said “That was really funny. It still appears on shorts,” making all the members laugh. On the other hand, after watching the moment when they won the ‘Album of the Year’ at the ‘2023 MMA’, they said “(Today‘s content) seems to make us cry and laugh.”
After watching the video, they took time to guess what each person’s forbidden words would be. The rankings for the banned word game were then announced, and Ray and Liz, who tied for first place, Ga Eul in second place, Jang Won Young in third place, Lee Seo in fourth place, and Ahn Yu Jin in fifth place, chose the prepared gifts in that order.
Ive, who received generous gifts ranging from a 100,000 won delivery app gift certificate to a catering voucher, a red ginseng set, and a Christmas content thumbnail raffle ticket, was satisfied with each gift. He greeted Dive, saying, “This is our fourth Christmas together. I hope you all have a lot of good things, receive lots of gifts, and eat lots of delicious food. Merry Christmas!”!
Ive will make a comeback on February 3 with their new album ‘IVE EMPATHY’. Ahead of the release, they will release a pre-released title song on January 13.
