Singer Lee Seung-hwan has decided to compensate the staff for the cancellation of his Gumi concert. On the 25th, Lee Seung-hwan announced on his personal SNS, “The staff and band members who dedicated themselves to my concert are additional victims of the concert cancellation,” and announced that he would pay 40% of the estimated fee to 8 teams including the sound team and lighting team, and 50% of the session fee to the band members. Lee Seung-hwan had planned to hold his 35th anniversary concert at the Gumi Cultural Arts Center Grand Concert Hall on that day, but Gumi City abruptly canceled the venue on the 23rd, citing “concerns about conflict with conservative groups,” causing a stir. Lee Seung-hwan and 100 concert ticket holders have filed a damages lawsuit against Gumi Mayor Kim Jang-ho.
