The group ENHYPEN‘s ‘Billboard run’ shows no sign of ending. They have shown remarkable growth both domestically and internationally this year, and they are expected to continue this momentum until the end of the year, solidifying their position as a ‘K-pop top tier’, drawing attention.

ENHYPEN’s growth momentum this year is said to be their second full-length album ‘Romance: Untold’, released in July. The album ranked 169th on the latest version of the ‘Billboard 200’, the main album chart announced by Billboard on the 25th (Korean time) (dated December 28th). It rose four spots compared to the previous week, showing off its prowess by staying on the chart for a total of 17 weeks.

The album, released on July 12, entered the Billboard 200 at #2 on the July 27th issue, renewing its own highest ranking. It stayed there for 12 weeks until October 21st, setting a new record for the longest chart-in period (previously set at 10 weeks).

They continued the momentum by releasing their second full-length repackaged album, ‘Romance: Untold – Daydream’, on the 11th of last month. Since the release of the repackaged album, ‘Romance: Untold’ re-entered the ‘Billboard 200’ at #7 on the November 30th issue, and has been showing its mettle by ‘chart-in’ for 5 consecutive weeks. Based on this achievement, ENHYPEN was listed on the ‘Billboard Year-End Chart’ (196th place) for the first time since their debut in 2020.

In Korea, they achieved their first ‘Double Million Seller’ with initial week (one week after release) sales of 2.34 million copies. The repackaged album also set a record for the highest initial week sales (1.4 million copies) among K-pop repackaged albums. In Japan, which is considered a ‘Major K-pop market’, they ranked 9th on Oricon‘s ‘Annual Ranking 2024’ album chart, jumping 15 places (previously 24th) from last year.

Their solid ‘step-like growth’ is expected to continue next year. ENHYPEN will appear at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’, the largest music festival in the U.S., in April next year. This will be the second time a K-pop boy group has performed on the stage, following ATEEZ last year.
