Rookie singer 1chika is making her official debut.
Ichika will make her debut in the music industry on the 28th by releasing her first single and remake song, ‘Twelve Times a Day’.
Japanese rookie Ichika appeared on the Mnet survival show ‘Boys Planet’ last year and caught the attention of K-pop fans with her versatile skills and abilities. In 2022, she was recognized for her growing performance skills when she won the finals as a member of Team Honey J on the Mnet entertainment show ‘Ttuktak‘s Counterattack’. Ichika, who has been displaying her global presence, is announcing a new beginning as a vocalist.
‘Twelve Times a Day’ is a remake of the original ballad song by Yoon Gun released in 2020. The dreamy modern rock arrangement captures your ears with a guitar sound that becomes stronger as it goes on.
Ichika’s unique sweet and warm voice brings the delicate emotions of the original song while also bringing the emotional line of longing to a climax. Ichika‘s fresh and deep reinterpretation is expected to melt the hearts of listeners frozen in the cold weather.
Ichika is an all-round entertainer who has experience in various fields, speaking six languages including Korean, Japanese, English, Chinese, Thai, and Filipino. He previously worked as an MC for ‘KCON JAPAN 2023’ and ‘KCON SAUDI ARABIA 2023’, and has also been active as an actor in Japanese dramas, movies, and plays. She also appeared on the Chinese survival program ‘Creative Camp 2021’ and built up a global fandom.
Ichika’s debut single ‘Twelve Times a Day’ will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 28th.
