‘Project 7’ Final D-1… Jeon Min-wook → Kim Si-hoon, who are the final debut members?
JTBC ‘PROJECT 7’ has revealed the key points to watch a day before its final episode.
JTBC ‘PROJECT 7’ (produced by Studio SLAM, SLL) is a new concept idol audition program in Korea that introduced the concept of ‘assembly, strengthening’, where viewers become ‘World Assemblers’ and directly select participants for each round from the first vote, form new teams, and grow their favorite participants through the process.
‘PROJECT 7’, which first aired on October 18, garnered attention by starting with 200 participants, the largest number in idol survival audition history, and operating various projects until the 21 who will compete in the final ‘Final Match’ survived. In particular, ‘PROJECT 7’ has garnered attention for its groundbreaking plan where trainees compete based on the assembly completed directly by the World Assemblers for each project, and who passes or dies based on the votes of the World Assemblers.
On the final episode of ‘PROJECT 7’ to be aired on the 27th (Friday), the long-awaited ‘Final Match’ to select the final 7 trainees to debut in a spectacular finale will be broadcast live. In this regard, we have compiled the ‘Viewing Points’ to watch for in the final round of the trainees who have been running towards their earnest dream of ‘Debut’.
On the live broadcast stage of the final episode of ‘PROJECT 7’, a touching ‘Special Stage’ will be revealed where the 21 surviving trainees who have been through thick and thin together for over 3 long months will come together. The 21 trainees who have built precious friendships, sometimes shedding tears of frustration and sometimes laughing with joy, for the one goal of ‘debut’ will decorate the stage with one heart. Expectations are rising for the thrilling ‘special stage’ that the trainees will present for the first time in front of the World Assemblers.
The ‘PROJECT 7’ trainees will compete with 3 all-time new songs in the ‘Final Match’, their last journey. The finale will be marked with new songs completed by the best producers in Korea, including ‘PSYCHO’ by producer KENZIE, who composed mega hits for K-POP top tiers such as aespa, NCT, SHINee, RIIZE, and EXO, ‘ACT UP’ by producer Young Chance, who created RIIZE‘s
and NCT 127’s , and ‘Antidote’ by producer FRANTS, who produced songs for Sunmi, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, and DAY6.
According to the votes of World Assembler, ‘PSYCHO’ includes Kenshin Sakurada, Jeon Min-wook, Song Seung-ho, Jang Yeo-jun, Kang Hyun-woo, Kim Jung-min, and Kim Hyun-woo were assembled for ‘ACT UP’, Ma Jing-siang, Ahn Jun-won, Lee Chen, Andy, Lin Lin, Jung Se-yoon, and Park Jun-seo were assembled for ‘Antidote’. Seo Kyung-bae, Kim Sung-min, Kim Si-hoon, Nam Ji-woon, Woo Ha-joon, Bing Hwa, and Yoo Young-seo were assembled for ‘Antidote’.
The most important point of interest is who will be the final 7 debut group members who will be decided by the votes of the World Assemblers. In the previous ‘3rd Global Voting’, unlike the previous voting method where 7 people were selected, there were many unexpected results as 3 trainees were voted for, causing a huge upheaval in the rankings. This resulted in the creation of NEW TOP7 Sakurada Kenshin - Seo Kyungbae - Jeon Minwook - Kim Sungmin - Ma Jingxiang - Song Seungho - Jang Yeojun.
In this ‘4th Global Voting’, voting is only conducted for 1 trainee that they support, so it is predicted that it will be a ‘foggy situation’ as to which trainee will be selected for TOP7. Furthermore, in the interim rankings of the 4th global voting that were released on the 24th (Tue), tension is rising as the rankings of the TOP7, which were expected to be the debut group, fluctuated, with Sakurada Kenshin in 4th place, Kim Sungmin in 7th place, Jang Yeojun in 8th place, and Song Seungho in 9th place. Indeed, curiosity is growing as to who the 7 trainees who will debut as the ‘World Top Class Boy Group’ will be.
The Incheon Namdong Gymnasium, where the final round will be broadcast live, has a capacity of 8,567 and an area of 42,357㎡, and will decorate the grand finale with an unprecedentedly grand scale and abundant things to see. In particular, various events such as a photo wall, red carpet, cheering stick and photo card giveaways have been prepared for the World Assemblers who will watch and attend the final round in person.
The final episode of JTBC ‘PROJECT 7’ will air on Friday, December 27 at 8:50 PM.
